I heat my home with wood. My furnace has a fuel oil backup burner. I used to leave the wood in a pile exposed to the elements. Now I keep it under a roof. It burns hotter and with less creosote.

I was asked by my sister-in-law to repair her violin. Knowing nothing about violins and admitting that fact to her, she still let me try.

The Gibson was a project. It had no strings, no bridge, the controls were corroded, the finger board was severely pitted and worn as were the fret wires and the finish was in pretty poor shape.

This was recorded a few years after i started learning to play guitar. I created the chord progression. On it I played two acoustic guitars, one electric guitar, an acoustic base and electronic keyboard. My guitar teacher played drums and did all the editing and mixing.

I used commercially available plastic braces in my kayaks but I thought of an idea to make my own out of wood. I think they are unique, good looking, sturdy and functional.
